SEA (SEE) ● SHIMOOKA (SHIMO-OHKA)

Sea Shimooka is a mixed AAPI artist and filmmaker born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Trained as an actor, she holds a BFA in Drama from New York University and recently wrapped 3 Body Problem, a new Netflix series from the creators of Game of Thrones.

Later gravitating behind the camera, she wrote and directed her first short BERLIN that was shot on location in Berlin, Germany with Floor 1 Productions and Van Rothe.

Alongside acting, she freelances as a writer/director and shoots photography, mainly portraiture, as a hobby. She now resides in Brooklyn.
