SEA (SEE) ● SHIMOOKA (SHIMO-OHKA)

Sea Shimooka is a mixed API artist and filmmaker born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Trained as an actress, she holds a BFA in Drama from New York University and is most known for her role as Sophon on the Emmy nominated series, 3 Body Problem, a Netflix series from the creators of Game of Thrones.

Later gravitating behind the camera, she wrote and directed her first short BERLIN that was shot on location in Berlin, Germany with Floor 1 Productions and Van Rothe.

Alongside acting and writing/directing, she shoots photography, mainly portraiture, as a hobby. She now resides in Los Angeles.
